Open area behind the main entrance

The open space behind the main entrance to the Brno Exhibition Centre is ideal for events requiring easy public access, proximity to public transport and a solid surface even in adverse weather conditions. It is often used for concerts, sporting events (for example, as a start and finish line) or roadshows. Many concerts have taken place here – for example, a concert by the band Queenie, the ‘Republika’ exhibition marking the centenary of the founding of Czechoslovakia, the Urban Challenge race and other events. Pavilion A can be used as a base for organisers, and toilets are available in the exhibition centre’s entrance building.
