Open area Z

Open Area Z is the largest outdoor event space at Brno Exhibition Centre, offering an ideal venue for high-attendance events. Thanks to its location in the immediate vicinity of the new Arena Brno tram and trolleybus stop, it provides excellent transport accessibility for visitors. The area is traditionally used for concerts, festivals, and other events aimed at the general public.

Over the years, it has hosted numerous major music events, including concerts by The Rolling Stones, Kiss, Lucie, and Kabát, as well as the popular student festival Majáles. Its solid surface also makes it suitable for showcasing heavy machinery, vehicle demonstrations, and the construction of various obstacle courses and sports tracks.

A major advantage of the site is its direct connection to Hall G2 and the possibility of expanding the event footprint to include the adjacent Z1 outdoor area or Hall Z. Nearby, there is also a large reinforced concrete area originally built as a swimming pool, which now serves as a catering zone, relaxation area, or space for additional visitor and organizer facilities.
