SCHUNK at MSV 2026 will showcase technologies for more efficient machining and automation

July 7, 2026  /  11:11 AM

Visitors to the SCHUNK booth will experience a cross-section of the company's complete portfolio. The exhibition will bring together SCHUNK's two core areas of expertise: workholding technology and gripping & automation technology.

Automation Begins with Understanding Manufacturing

Visitors to the SCHUNK booth will experience a cross-section of the company's complete portfolio. The exhibition will bring together SCHUNK's two core areas of expertise: workholding technology and gripping & automation technology.

One of the main topics will be the automation of machine tools. At SCHUNK, we believe that every successful automation project should begin with a thorough analysis of manufacturing processes. Only by understanding the requirements of a specific production environment can a solution be designed that is efficient, flexible, and ready for future development. That is why our booth will present technologies that form a complete process chain – from workpiece clamping and handling to the automation of manufacturing operations.

In the field of workholding technology, visitors will see everything from vises and zero-point clamping systems to lathe chucks. Particular attention will be given to two new products making their Czech trade fair debut.

The first is the new KONTEC KSC-5X 5-axis centric vise, featuring a robust design, high clamping force, and full jaw compatibility with the existing KONTEC KSC3 series. Customers can therefore expand their current setup without investing in new jaw sets.

The second highlight is the fully sealed ROTA THW 2+2 four-jaw chuck, which expands SCHUNK's lathe chuck portfolio. Thanks to the independent adjustment of each jaw, it enables reliable clamping of workpieces with a wide variety of shapes, making it an ideal solution for flexible manufacturing. Its sealed design also ensures high operational reliability and extended service intervals.

More motion, more inspiration

This year, SCHUNK will once again present its Robot PLUS portfolio, which has been further expanded since its premiere last year. Visitors will be able to explore new sizes of force/torque sensors and compensation units, enabling an even broader range of robotic applications.

This year's booth will not only feature static exhibits. Several live applications will be demonstrated, including an interactive showcase in which visitors can actively participate. After several years, visitors will once again have the opportunity to experience SCHUNK technologies in action.

Come and talk about your manufacturing

MSV is not only a place to introduce new products. Above all, it is an opportunity to meet experts, discuss specific manufacturing challenges, and find solutions that deliver real added value.

Throughout the exhibition, SCHUNK specialists will be available at the booth to share their experience from real-world projects and help visitors identify the most suitable solutions for their manufacturing processes – from machining and handling to comprehensive production automation.

If you are looking for new ways to increase productivity, improve flexibility, or prepare your production for future challenges, visit SCHUNK at MSV 2026 in Hall F. We will be pleased to demonstrate that modern automation is not about individual products, but about intelligently connecting technologies into one efficient manufacturing process.
