The company was founded by Ing. Pavel Gabriel, who was behind the development of the first two products – the Openwell mat, designed for removing coarse dirt, and the Shatwell mat, serving as a second cleaning zone for fine dust and moisture. These mats quickly gained a strong position on the market and remain a key part of the company’s portfolio to this day.

Thanks to its focus on quality, functionality, and reliability, GAPA MB has become one of the leading mat manufacturers in Central Europe. Today, the company offers over 80 types of mats and accessories, including entrance, textile, industrial, and pool mats, as well as drainage boxes, stair edges, door strips, and custom logo mats.
