BIBUS to present an expanded portfolio of drive technology at MSV 2026
July 3, 2026 / 8:32 AM
BIBUS s.r.o. will present itself at the International Engineering Fair in Brno with an expanded portfolio of drive technology. The new possibilities within the product range follow the integration of the former company TAT, through which BIBUS is strengthening its technical expertise particularly in the areas of precision gearboxes, drive components and special shaft couplings.
For visitors to the fair, this means a broader selection of solutions for the precise transmission of motion, torque and power in industrial applications. BIBUS can therefore offer not only individual components, but also technical support for their correct design and integration into a specific machine or production equipment.
Neugart precision gearboxes for servo drives and positioning systems
One of the new additions to the portfolio is Neugart precision gearboxes, designed for applications with high requirements for accuracy, dynamics and repeatability of motion. These gearboxes are used mainly in servo drives, automation, robotics, handling systems and positioning axes.
The portfolio includes planetary, angular, hypoid and worm gearboxes. Important features include minimal backlash, high torsional rigidity, compact design and the possibility of use in applications where motion must be controlled precisely, even under higher loads.
Another interesting area is the combination of gearbox and pinion for rack-and-pinion drives. These solutions help simplify drive design, speed up assembly and ensure mutually matched mechanical components for linear motion.

ATLANTA drive components for precise and robust motion transmission
Another important part of the expanded portfolio is ATLANTA drive components. These include racks and pinions, gears, pinion shafts, timing belts, pulleys, roller chains, sprockets and automatic lubrication systems.
This area is important wherever force, torque or linear motion need to be reliably transmitted between individual parts of a machine. Typical applications include gantry axes, travelling units, handling equipment, transmission mechanisms, production lines and machine designs requiring precise and long-term stable operation.
Thanks to the availability of standard and special versions, solutions can be better adapted to a specific application, including requirements for dimensions, load, mounting method or connection to other parts of the drive system.

Special SCHMIDT-KUPPLUNG couplings for demanding applications
The newly expanded range also includes special SCHMIDT-KUPPLUNG couplings. These are intended for applications where conventional shaft couplings are not sufficient, for example in terms of precision, torsional rigidity, misalignment compensation, dynamics or protection of connected components.
The range includes couplings for rotary encoders and measuring tasks, precision couplings for servo drives, couplings for compensating greater shaft misalignment, as well as solutions for highly dynamic drive applications. As a result, they are used in automation, measuring technology, precision machine applications and wherever motion must be transmitted safely and precisely between shafts.

New possibilities for machine design, production and modernisation
The expansion of the drive technology portfolio enables BIBUS to offer customers more comprehensive solutions for the design and optimisation of drive systems. In addition to electric motors, geared motors, couplings and brakes, the portfolio now places stronger emphasis on precision gearboxes, gear drives, belt and chain drives, lubrication systems and special couplings.
At MSV 2026, these solutions can be discussed in person with BIBUS specialists. Visitors will be able to consult specific technical requirements, possibilities for replacing existing components, the design of new drives and suitable solutions for modernising machines and production equipment.
You will find BIBUS s.r.o. at MSV 2026 in Brno in Hall V. A separate exposition focused on handling technology will be located in Hall A2.
