For more than 140 years, KNIPEX has specialized in the development and manufacture of pliers for professional use. The company will also be presenting its manufacturing expertise and approach based on narrow specialization to visitors at the AMPER 2026 trade fair.
Our basic idea is to focus. Only as specialists can we offer our customers the highest quality and survive in global competition. In more than 140 years, we have accumulated a very extensive range of products and manufacturing know-how, which you will find in every KNIPEX pliers.
What we know and can do today is not enough for the future. That is why we are working on continuous improvement throughout the company – in our products, processes, organization, and skills.
Made in Wuppertal, Germany
We manufacture exclusively in Germany, at the company's founding location in Wuppertal.
With almost 100 % of our production processes in one place, we can control all production steps, directly influence them, and continuously improve them to the highest quality.
From the initial idea to the delivery of the finished pliers to our customers: we do everything under one roof. Short distances and direct communication enable close coordination of all processes and close cooperation between all employees involved.
