The largest Central European trade fairs for agriculture and forestry will take place in Brno from 7 to 11 April 2024. It will also include the SILVA REGINA fair, which is a major Central European trade show of forestry and hunting.

The selection committee consisting of shareholder representatives, i.e. members of the statutory city council of Brno, members of the board of directors of the Veletrhy Brno joint-stock company and a representative of the company's trade union finished the selection process on Friday 28 July 2023 to fill the position of the company's general director.

When making their decision, the commission considered Kubata’s visions, opinions and attitudes with regards to the company’s next five years.
