Trade Fairs Brno

 IDET, International Fair of Defence and Security Technology, is one of the biggest shows of defence technology in Central and Eastern Europe. Exhibitors from ca. 30 countries present their products to international military delegations and professionals from all over the world. In 2005 IDET was the largest trade show in this field in Europe and since 1997 it has been number one in Europe in odd years. Part of each run is a varied accompanying programme in which defence technology experts discuss topical issues. Its focal point is the traditional international conference CATE. PYROS/ISET, International Fair for Fire Fighting Equipment and Security Technology, is held concurrently with IDET under the common title of Integrated Rescue System Fairs.

PYROS/ISET, International Fair for Fire Fighting Equipment and Security Technology, is the biggest event of this type in new European Union member states. The show is there for professionals and everyone who takes interest in fire prevention, integrated rescue system activities, protection of health, lives and property, professionals in the field of security, Czech Republic Police and companies providing security services and technology. PYROS/ISET is number one in the Czech Republic offering a rare opportunity to get a comprehensive picture of this field in Europe. Part of the fair is a vast accompanying programme. IDET, International Fair of Defence and Security Technology, is held concurrently with PYROS/ISET under the common title of Integrated Rescue System Fairs.

The International Wine Fair VINEX 2013 shall be held in a new date as a separate trade show of wines. The show which will be organized in the A exhibiting hall of the Brno fairgrounds will present domestic and foreign wine-growers and their current offer. As the tradition goes, results of GRAND PRIX VINEX 2013, an international competition of wines, shall be announced during the course of the fair.

The sales exhibition Minerals Brno is one of the largest mineralogical events in the Czech Republic. In 2013, the Minerals Brno exhibition is scheduled on two dates: the last weekend of May and the third weekend of November.

Quality in IT Service Delivery - Best practices such as ITIL, COBIT, ISO 20000, USMBOK are bringing new approaches to the definition of term „Quality of IT Services“, and in general, to the IT management. The respective views  of IT professionals and business, i.e., users of services, are very different.The conference “Service Delivery Forum International” (SDFI 2013) is a continuation of the highly appreciated conference started in May 2012. Then, the main focus was on Service Desk as a place where user perception is formed in a high extent. Service Desk is of course important but on the same token, it is only one part of a whole group of service delivery processes.

MODELLBRNO is the largest one-day European get-together for plastic scale modelers and contest exhibition. This event in Brno is considered the largest show of livestock production in the Czech Republic. The exhibition features 800 animals – cattle, sheep, goats, pigs and horses from the best Czech farms.  Stainless, International Stainless Steel Trade Fair and Congress, has been held at the Brno Exhibition Centre since 2009. It is a highly specialised show of stainless steel with strong international attendance both among exhibitors and visitors. With 80% international attendees of the total 150 this event is the most international in the Brno Exhibition Centre portfolio. Among visiting professionals of whom there are over a thousand this proportion is almost 40%. A traditional part of the show is a congress. 

MEDICAL FAIR Brno is an important meeting place for domestic and foreign suppliers of medical technologies, health care products, rehabilitation and social care services. 

REHAPROTEX is an important meeting place for domestic and foreign suppliers of medical technologies, health care products, rehabilitation and social care services. 

REHAPROTEX is Central  and Eastern Europe’s premier Trade Fair in the sector. It is the showcase for the full scope of compensatory, prosthetic, orthopaedic, and rehabilitation solutions, the supply and equipment sector as well as support services.

Animefest.CZ is the oldest and largest anime and manga convention in the Czech Republic, organized by a non-profit organization Brno otaku. As the name suggests, the festival takes place inBrno. More than 200 fans visited the first event in 2004 and each following con attracted more people, with over 1600 attendees in 2011.

The festival program offers a mix of contests (e.g. cosplay and AMV), workshops, talks, discussions and, of course, anime screening. Animefest.CZ is organized in co-operation with Beez Entertainment as the main program partner, and with the kind help of its sponsors.
