The aim of road safety improvement has for many years been an important society-wide topic on a European level. The 6th international conference on road safety BRNOSAFETY 2012 will be held again this year from June 5th – 6th, 2012 in Brno, the Czech Republic as an important part of the AUTOTEC trade fair.

Since 2007, the conference BRNOSAFETY has every year provided an excellent meeting point for road safety experts from various areas and levels of expertise, this event being an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and information between experts on an international level.

Two seminars will be prepared by members of the Salzburg Forum and both will be a significant part of the international conference BRNOSFETY 2012. The Salzburg Forum joins road traffic experts from police forces of nine European states.

STYL Fashion Fair is the business and commercial peak of the fashion industry. It is where exhibitors from all over Europe offer and present new brands, novelties and fashion trends in clothing from each field to professionals. Alongside classic fashion there are also collections from established Czech and European fashion designers as well as the up and coming generation of fashion designers. Traders can view the collections in the form of quality fashion shows within the scope of the rich accompanying programme. A section of the STYL fair is also dedicated to a selection of costume jewellery and accessories. The STYL fair is supported by the Igedo Company, Düsseldorf.

KABO Footwear Fair is the most prestigious professional show of the products of Czech and foreign footwear manufacturers within the Czech and Slovak Republics. Most of the global brands will present themselves, through their domestic distributors, along with footwear and accessory manufacturers. The GDS Footwear Fair from the mother company Messe, Düsseldorf is KABO’s cooperating partner.

The Green World is an international professional contract horticultural and floristry trade fair with eleven-year tradition. 
It is purely professional; therefore, it will be of interest for those who do business in agriculture, horticulture and gardening, floristry, municipal sector and similar. Besides, it will be rewarding for those who are interested in services provided in the above mentioned fields.

The International Engineering Fair is the most important industrial fair in Central Europe, with annual participation of more than 1,500 exhibitors and 80,000 visitors. More than 35% of exhibitors and 10% of visitors come from abroad.
Visitors are highly specialized, over seventy percent of visitors affect investment decisions, a third belong to top management.

All key areas of engineering and electrical industry are represented.

Electronics, Automation and Measuring Technology is third most represented specialized MSV section after Mechanical Engineering Technology and Materials, and Components in Engineering.

Together with MSV 2012, an International Trade Fair of cutting and shaping technology IMT and technology fairs named Fond-ex, Welding, Plastex and Profintech take place, as well as Interprotec, personal protection, safety at work fair.

MSV traditionally boasts high media attention, over four hundred journalists are accredited. The fair includes a high-class expert accompanying programme of conferences, seminars and workshops on current technical, business and economic issues.

Best practices like ITIL and ISO 20000 are defining new approach to perception of Service Desk role in IT departments regardless of company type or size. Still in many organizations Service Desk is seen as „someone who answers the calls“. Modern IT role of Service Desk evolved to supplier of defined, structured, easy to understand services, with customer focus, where services are ever changing to adapt to business needs. Service Desk is also frequently absorbing routine activities delivered by specialist and experts and thus releasing expensive and highly specialized resources for transformation projects.

Autojumble and exhibition of historical vehicles. It is organized twice a year (april and october) on the ground area 1 730m2 in pavilion and 11 200 m2 on open air space around in site of BVV.

The Central European Veterinary Congress organised at the Brno Exhibition Centre on 2 – 3 April 2012, will take place at the Congress Centre on the eve of Animal Vetex, an International Veterinary Fair. The fourth run of this prestigious international event will be held during the Brno University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chamber of Veterinary Doctors and the State Veterinary Administration of the Czech Republic.

RYBAŘENÍ (FISHING) exhibition is the largest showcase of a complete range of fishing tackle in the Czech Republic. It is the most concentrated shopping opportunity for Czech fishermen. Exhibitors traditionally involve key suppliers and major importers of fishing tackle on the Czech market. An attractive accompanying programme for professional and lay visitors is included.

In 2010 the International Fair for Motorcycles, Motorcycle Accessories and Clothing MOTOSALON was staged at the exhibition centre in Brno for the first time and aroused great interest from visitors.
According to the agreement between BVV Trade Fairs Brno and the motorcycle section of the Car Importers Association the last fair was held at the PVA exhibition area in Prague – Letňany. In 2012 the fair will again return to the Brno exhibition centre. This alternating venue should address the widest possible group of motorcycle enthusiasts.

MOTOSALON is the largest branch presentation in Central Europe and it is the only motorcycle fair which is under the charges of the Car Importers Association – the motorcycle section and sponsorship of the Automobile Industry Association (AIA).

It has been incorporated into the international calendar of ACEM exhibitions and fairs. The fair will showcase the complete range of important brands available on the Czech market and the hot newcomers and will offer the visitor a display of everything that is connected with the motorcycle.
