ORGANIC CITY BRNO – Living city for the 21st century

Organic City Conference Brno - The lively city of the 21st century has the task to define what it means to form a smart city, to give examples of different approaches to creating smart cities in several foreign cities, mainly focusing on transport and security systems in transport. Smart City has a vision, is digital, open and cooperative and focused on its inhabitants.

Current and future needs of the people are the driving force that through the innovation of management, communication, culture and business model and the proactive approach of all stakeholders will create an environment in which urban spaces, transportation, activities and services will be systematically and flexibly connected. These include linking the agendas of the city, long-term planning of development, the involvement of citizens and businesses in this transformation, the deployment of smart technologies to obtain measurable data, processing and analysis of these data for other purposes, such as improving services, traffic safety and subsequent access to this information anytime and anywhere, the status of "all in one place," according to the needs of users, making impersonal urban data to the public, integrated digitization and connectivity, creating spaces and opportunities for new cooperation, meeting innovators from different fields and sectors, new networks and infrastructure, new business models, synergy systems or data sharing and common applications.
