Smart Municipal Solutions

It is a biomass cogeneration system, i.e. production of electricity and heat from wood. The basis is a hot-air boiler connected to a turbine - ORC (Organic Rankine Cycle). The turbine produces electricity and heat.

The whole system is especially unique in its size. Installations of ORC technology are quite well-known in Europe, but they are all designed to produce electricity and heat in hundreds of MW. The ORC energy block B:POWER is designed to start electricity production from 70kWel, in warmth from 300kWth. It allows to use the unit for small and medium-sized municipalities since the power category has not been available on the market yet.
