International Fair of Agricultural Machinery

Full range of agricultural machinery at TECHAGRO 2022

Agricultural and forestry fairs – the TECHAGRO International Fair of Agricultural Machinery, the SILVA REGINA International Forestry and Hunting Fair and the BIOMASS Fair of Renewable Energy Sources in Agriculture and Forestry – are scheduled to take place at the Brno Exhibition Centre from 3 April 2022, with a traditional start on Sunday. TECHAGRO has been focusing on crop production since the last season, while animal production is presented in odd years at the ANIMAL TECH fair.

Preparations in progress for the Brno Forestry and Agricultural Fairs testify to the positive attitude of exhibitors. Hundreds of companies in the entire range of agricultural and forestry equipment have signed up. Some of the specialized halls are occupied to an extent comparable to the last season held; institutions from the sector of agriculture and forestry have also signed up.

Visitors to the upcoming expo can look forward above all to agricultural machinery. Specialized halls are planned for some sectors, for example for post-harvest technologies, crop storage, agricultural buildings, seeds, fertilizers, institutions, beekeeping, sprayers, irrigation, spare parts, and machine groups. The highlighted topic will be the presentation of municipal equipment, more space will also be dedicated to technology for cultivating vineyards. The TECHAGRO fair will also feature a beekeeping exhibition linked with the sale of supplies for beekeepers and bee products, and lectures for beekeepers will be included just like every year. Farm and regional foods will also be sold at the exposition of the Agrarian Chamber of the Czech Republic. The GRAND PRIX exhibit competition is also under preparation.

An expert conference will take place on Monday 4 April, as part of the supporting programme of TECHAGRO. It will focus primarily on sustainable agriculture with an emphasis on production. Additional supporting programmes envisage the inclusion of technological trends – digitization, or precision agriculture. Collaborating universities, professional associations in agriculture and other expert partners will take part in the conference.

Better ticket prices will apply for group visits (bus tours), which have a reduced entrance fee from Sunday to Wednesday, and completely free entry on Thursday. The best deal for individual visitors is to purchase tickets on the web. There will also be also a visitor competition for valuable prizes in the sectors of agriculture, hunting or forestry.
