International Fair of Agricultural Technology

Bulgarian farmers are excited about the fair

TECHAGRO was visited by a delegation of sixteen agricultural experts from Bulgaria. A wide range of machinery, including the latest innovations and high attendance made a very positive impression. "In recent years I have been regularly participating in agricultural fairs in Hannover and Paris and I can say that TECHAGRO does not lag behind," says Petko Dimitrov, the owner of a family farm Pavis - Dimitrov, based in Chernogorovo in the South-Bulgarian Pazardjik region. They manage 10 thousand hectares of land, growing mainly wheat, barley, sunflower, canola and corn. He leads the family business with his son, both of them are mechanical engineers and they were mainly interested in the exhibited technology in Brno. "We are interested in a wide range of new machines, but for now we have come just to get an overview and not for specific business. I can say that there is no lack of global brands, which we saw in Hanover and in Paris, and they are presenting all the latest news here. We also saw a number of purely Czech technology which has high quality and is comparable with the global products. We were very impressed by the exhibitions of Zetor and PELC companies, although we know them, but we could see a much wider range here. We will spread this information among our colleagues in Bulgaria so that they know about these purchasing options for Czech technology," says Petko Dimitrov and his son Atanas adds:" If a family business is to be developed in the right direction, we need to get acquainted with the features that can be found just at fairs such as TECHAGRO. " Petko Dimitrov also sees the future positively, he returned to Brno after forty years, when he was here as a boy on tour with a dance troupe, but certainly not for the last time. "Personally, I can say that after this visit I intend to participate in every future TECHAGRO, because there's a really wide range. We will recommend a visit to this fair in Bulgaria and I think that in the future there will also be new contracts for the supply of Czech technology to Bulgaria. The other Bulgarian visitors will certainly not keep  this information a secret, they will continue to spread and promote TECHAGRO among Bulgarian farmers," believes Dimitrov.
