The most important show of industrial products and technologies in Central Europe this year is preparing a number of innovations. Already the 57th International Engineering Fair will be accompanied by special projects focusing on environmental technologies, transport and logistics. Cities and regions will begin to offer industrial sites and property at MSV. But the biggest news is the main theme of this year's edition, Industry 4.0, i.e. an automated and integrated industry, which will be the next development stage of industrial production.

The International Engineering Fair 2014 confirmed its position as a leading industrial trade fair in Central Europe. The participation of 1 627 exhibitors (a year on year increase of 10%) reflects the positive development of the Czech economy and especially of industrial production. The exhibition was attended by 76 155 professional visitors from 53 countries.

The 56th MSV reflected the positive development of the Czech economy and of industrial production especially. The number of exhibiting companies increased by 10 percent to 1627 and the exhibition stands filled all the halls of the Brno Exhibition Centre. Companies came from 31 countries and the share of foreign participants was 47%. The exhibition was attended by 76 155 professional visitors from 53 countries.

The delegation of Moscow industrial manufacture managers participated in the 56th International Engineering Fair MSV-2014 which took place in Brno, the Czech Republic, in early October. The Moscow exposition and the delegation participation was arranged by the Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship for the City of Moscow.

ARBURG: Gold medal for the Freeformer device

ARBURG celebrated success with a device for the production of functional plastic parts using a new patented technology AKF / APF at the International Engineering Fair in Brno. The Freeformer device had its Czech premiere in Brno, where it won the gold medal in the Best Innovative Exhibit category.

Industrial robot LBR iiwa is the world's first one which safely coperates with people, perceives its environment and adapts itself to it. The company KUKA Roboter CEE won one of the five gold medals of MSV 2014 for this exhibit.

EGAP increases the territorial limits for Belarus, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan

As of today, the Export Guarantee and Insurance Corporation increases the territorial limits of insurance for exports to Belarus, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. The General Director of EGAP Jan Procházka announced it at the International Engineering Fair during the Conference on Exports Funding Outside the EU. The credit insurance company is responding to the outage of exports to Ukraine and decreased exports to Russia in connection with EU sanctions against Russia.

The Traditional Business Day of the Russian Federation at MSV in Brno confirmed continued support for bilateral cooperation. The Rotunda of Hall A was a meeting place for Czech entrepreneurs with their Russian partners, representatives of the Russian regions, major companies and trade associations.
