International Engineering Fair

Visit specialized exhibitions and projects

The Transport and Logistics International Fair returns to the Brno Exhibition Centre after four years. Technological solutions for transport and logistics will be presented by at least 92 companies from four countries and the share of foreign participants is 14%. It has become tradition that the exhibition space of the 7th edition of Transport and Logistics will be located mainly in hall A2 and the adjacent outdoor areas. Carriers will include for example Nosreti, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, Kuehne & Nagel (Hall B) or the Polish company TRANSPOREON. Telematics devices such as surveillance systems, will be offered by a new exhibiting firm, RADIUM. Other services for carriers will be presented for example by the company WaShine for the first time, representing the Slovenian company Adriateh and their outdoor exhibition space will show a self-service contactless carwash technology. Another ‘newbie’, CTR flight services, will offer a private transport of persons – an air taxi in Hall Z. Traditionally numerous will be exhibitors of handling and storage technology, the most important companies there include Interroll, Kardex, Kasys, Systech Group or WRH Global. Suppliers of forklift trucks include BELET or STILL and  the industrial packaging industry will for example feature a newly exhibiting company Branopac, or GEORG UTZ, MEVA and a specialist in storage of hazardous substances,  DENIO.

The transport and logistics fair is also preparing an attractive supporting programme. On Wednesday, 16 September, a EULOG Logistics Conference will be held in Hall A2 and Hall Z will again showcase the traditional Helios Packaging Live project during the whole fair – a sample packaging line, which presents the real operation live. Four times a day, visitors will see a robotic product placement (chocolate) in boxes, their subsequent packing, labelling and final storage on palettes, this time on both an automatic and semi-automatic wrapper. The unique integrated packaging line will stretch across roughly 500 square metres and its operation with expert commentary will be run every two hours. The project also includes a programming centre for project partner lectures, led by the general partner, the company Asseco Solutions, which develops and delivers the HELIOS company information systems.

For the first time, the MSV complex will include the International Technology Fair for Environmental Protection, ENVITECH. Thirty-eight companies from five countries registered for participation and the share of foreign exhibitors will reach 39% here. The exhibition stands of the new specialized fair can be found in Hall V and the outdoor area K. The most significant exhibitors include traditional MSV participants such as the companies CIPRES FILTER, UAS, VZDUCHOTECHNIK or KÄRCHER. New introductions will for example feature the air-conditioning supplier Ziehl-Abegg, Šebesta company in the field of wastewater treatment, the company AGRO-EKO doing business in biodegradation of waste or Slovak company INECS in the field of waste management.

Hall A1 will turn into a hall of new technologies this year. The traditional project, Transfer of Technology and Innovation will represent all the technical universities in our country, i.e. BUT Brno, Czech Technical University in Prague, TU Liberec, University of West Bohemia in Pilsen and the Technical University of Ostrava. An attractive new exhibition, Industry 4.0 – A Digital Factory will involve the Czech-German Chamber of Commerce, joined by Siemens, Scada Servis and Takeplace. An annual increase of exhibitors is reported at the specialized 3D Print exhibition. From Hall A1 you can head to Hall Z for technological innovations, which will open two special projects, Industrial Island and Electropark.
