The International Engineering Fair 2014 confirmed its position as a leading industrial trade fair in Central Europe. The participation of 1 627 exhibitors (a year on year increase of 10%) reflects the positive development of the Czech economy and especially of industrial production. The exhibition was attended by 76 155 professional visitors from 53 countries.

The 56th MSV reflected the positive development of the Czech economy and of industrial production especially. The number of exhibiting companies increased by 10 percent to 1627 and the exhibition stands filled all the halls of the Brno Exhibition Centre. Companies came from 31 countries and the share of foreign participants was 47%. The exhibition was attended by 76 155 professional visitors from 53 countries.

EGAP increases the territorial limits for Belarus, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan

As of today, the Export Guarantee and Insurance Corporation increases the territorial limits of insurance for exports to Belarus, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. The General Director of EGAP Jan Procházka announced it at the International Engineering Fair during the Conference on Exports Funding Outside the EU. The credit insurance company is responding to the outage of exports to Ukraine and decreased exports to Russia in connection with EU sanctions against Russia.

The Chamber of Commerce of the Czech Republic and its partners organized a special seminar focused on export and business opportunities in Azerbaijan at the International Engineering Trade Fair today. The seminar was opened by the chamber President Vladimír Dlouhý, who among other things stated that the Czech-Azerbaijani relations did not start from scratch and recalled last year's business missions with the names of several Czech companies who are operating in Azerbaijan significantly. Even such brief statement of Minister of Industry and Trade Jan Mládek about the importance of the engineering industry hinted why he has been present at the International Engineering Fair in Brno since this morning. The International Engineering Fair has long maintained a high share of foreign participants. This year, already 750 foreign companies registered, a full 47 percent of the total number of 1600 participants. Foreign companies come from 31 countries and the highest number - 280 exhibitors - again registered from Germany, which has traditionally been strongest in MSV representation.
