International Engineering Fair

Sold out pavilions for the jubilee 60th MSV
The International Engineering Fair will celebrate its anniversary with a new logo, a unique exhibition of legends of the Czechoslovak industry, and, above all, a huge participation of 1650 companies. From 1 to 5 October 2018, visitors to the Brno Exhibition Centre will witness a showcase of state-of-the-art technology in completely sold pavilions.
“This year's jubilee International Engineering Fair is extremely desirable. Companies are trying to present themselves at their best and order more surface space. We are completely sold out now, vacancies remain only in the outdoor areas while there is a waiting list for the halls,” project director Radmila Svobodová informed.
Together with the jubilee 60th edition of the MSV, five other specialized fairs that return to the Brno Exhibition Centre in even years will take place. IMT is a showcase of metalworking and forming machines; FOND-EX focuses on foundry, WELDING on welding technology, PROFINTECH will introduce surface treatment technology and PLASTEX is a trade fair for plastics, rubber and composites. These six fairs combined fill the entire exhibition centre and the organizers are expecting 1650 companies from 33 countries to come to Brno.
Just as in the previous years, approximately half of all exhibitors come from abroad. Most of them will come from Germany, while Slovakia, Italy and Austria will also be numerously represented. Extremely large participation is expected from Russia this year, where its largest exhibitor, Rosatom, will occupy a quarter of Hall Z with their stand. The same surface area of Hall Z will be "cut out" by companies from China, while in Hall A1, visitors will certainly not miss the industrial production of Taiwan.
A number of foreign official participations, namely from Slovakia, China, France, India, Italy, Austria, Korea, Russia and Taiwan, have also been announced. An official exhibition stand of the German state of Bavaria and a common stand of the three federal states of central Germany - Saxony, Thuringia and Saxony-Anhalt - under the heading "Mitteldeutschland" have also become a tradition.
