Industry 4.0 - automated and integrated industry

Experts agree that the massively emerging robotics and digitalization brings change in existing production, logistics and business processes, which will make industrial production significantly more efficient in the next twenty years. Sometimes this transformation is already underway or has its particular vision. You can get acquainted with it at MSV, whose ambition has always been to show not only the present but also the future of industrial technology. That is why the main theme of this year is Industry 4.0. During these five days, there will be a technology exhibition focused on this theme and also an international conference in the middle of the trade fair.

A topical exhibition "Industry 4.0 – A Digital Factory" is an opportunity for major industrial and IT companies and research institutions who want to present their vision and contribution to the digitization of industrial processes. The exhibition, located in Hall A1, is loosely linked to the already-proven 3D printing technology exhibition and Technology and Innovation Transfer project, which provides space for the presentation of technical universities and their research projects and offers of collaboration with commercial entities.

The main partner of the theme, ČNOPK (the Czech-German Chamber of Commerce), are preparing a follow-up conference programme under the title “Industry 4.0 Forum” with the participation of significant experts from the Czech Republic and abroad. The Industry 4.0 Forum will take place on Wednesday 16 September in the Holiday Inn Congress Hall.

One day earlier, the Brno Exhibition will bring together those who are interested in the use of 3D technology to their third trade fair conference "3D Printing - Trends, Experiences And Business Opportunities". Tuesday 15 September will also feature the traditional "Visions In Automation" conference - a key part of the supporting programme which is part of the transversal Automation project, which has been taking place at MSV since 2000, highlighting the role of measurement, control, automation and control technology across all disciplines.

The future of industrial processes will again be presented at MSV through the attractive Packaging Live project. Thanks to the cooperation of suppliers of high-tech packaging, labelling, identification, barcodes, palletizing technology, a model packaging line with expert commentary will be put into live operation in Hall Z several times per day.
