International Engineering Fair

Eagerly awaited technology news

Exhibitors are preparing intensively for the fair and many of them have already announced the introduction of exciting new products. The company Šmeral Brno, which is among the companies who have been participating in all the previous years of MSV, are planning a world premiere of a unique device developed in collaboration with Bionic. A microwave reactor mf60D works on the principle of catalytic depolymerisation and is able to transform materials rich in hydrocarbons such as municipal waste or biomass to oil condensate, gases, carbon residue and water.

KUKA are a traditional exhibitor in the field of automation and they will present a Czech exhibition premiere, a new series of industrial AGILUS robots with a new KR C4 Compact control system. Of course there will be also the desired robots of the QUANTEC range and the meaning of the enlarged exhibition will show the customers "live" how easy automation can be.

Another traditional participant, Hotset ČR, will introduce exciting news by Optris, who deal with non-contact temperature measurement. These include a unique solution for unmanned aircraft, which make it possible to perform various types of inspections with the help of infra-red cameras, such as solar power stations.

UNIS have been exhibiting at MSV since 1992. They have prepared a visual showcase of a product named PHARIS ® - a production information system, where one can quickly and easily test all functions using a portable module and delve into the simulation of production planning directly at the fair. Those interested in aviation technology will see a spinning jet engine borrowed from the První brněnská strojírna in this exhibition, where UNIS provide the control systems.

ABB will not be missing among the exhibitors, showing visitors the second generation of compact robotic FlexArc welding cells – a robotic workstation for serial production with many features. An interesting exhibit is a multifunctional robot IRB 120 with a weight of only 25 kg. Its typical applications include machine operation and material handling, but it will be present at the fair in the form of a robotic FlexBeer bar.

"Intelligent Revolution" in welding is promised as a showcase by Fronius. They are preparing a presentation of a new generation of TPS/i welding sources which are the result of several years of work by company developers.

Novelties can also be found in the exhibition space of STILL ČR who appreciate MSV for visitors’ interest in innovations and the opportunity to showcase products directly in operation. Their development focuses on environmentally friendly technology, such as reverse energy use, hybrid drives, a new generation of batteries, using filters to collect debris etc. They will present their most effective product at MSV – an innovated RX 70 Hybrid model, the world's only mass-produced forklift truck with hybrid drive technology in the capacity class of 3 to 3.5 tons.

Vítkovice Machinery Group will focus their presentation on supplies for mechanical metallurgy. They will strive for the gold medal this year with their vacuum device that already works in Železárny Hrádek u Rokycan.

There will of course be many more exciting new exhibits; information about them is available on www.bvv.cz/msv in the exhibitors presentation section.
