Solidscape Announces the MAX² High Precision 3D Printer for Manufacturing, the Newest Member of the 3Z® Series

The MAX², featuring SCP® (Smooth Curvature Printing), delivers higher throughput with very significant production gains for precision designs in jewelry, medical and industrial applications. For the jewelry industry in particular, the MAX² will revolutionize current workflows by delivering complete design to finished, casted jewelry in a much shorter time.

CAPTRON − capacitive sensor switches

Our capacitive START sensor switches have been developed in co-operation with our customer according to the following criteria:

  • Touch control – No mechanical pressure required
  • Feedback – Visual and acoustic signals
  • Highly shock-resistant – The sensor can not be destroyed by lighter flames or severe blows
  • Extensive service life – More than 100 million switching cycles
  • 100% water and oil-proof: Degrees of protection (IP 69K), Sensor completely sealed in cast resin
  • Switching through – no need to drill holes in panes

For its STARTbuttons (button surface and coloured ring) Captron uses exclusively UV-resistant, break-proof polycarbonate (PC). This material is also used for police shield. This shock-proof and wear-resistant material is also used in aircraft construction.
