Industry 4.0 will be seen directly at the exhibition stands

9.6.2016

Same as last year, the main topic this year is Industry 4.0 - integrated and automated industry, which is a new and upcoming fourth phase of the industrial revolution. While a year ago, the new direction was shown by a special exhibition, this year, 4.0 Industry will be presented directly at the exhibitors' stands. In connection with the Industry 4.0 theme focus will be on key innovative technology, automation, robotics, digitalization and networking.

Traditional and new exhibitors

7.6.2016

This year's increased interest in participation is also linked with the biennial technological fairs that highlight the foundry industry, welding, surface treatment and plastic processing in even years. All four fairs are filling up very well and especially the interest in the International Fair of Plastics, Rubber and Composites PLASTEX exceeds the organizers’ expectations.

Foreign participation is dominated by China and Germany

3.6.2016

MSV has long been one of the projects with the highest proportion of foreign exhibitors, not only in the Brno trade fair administration, but also in the whole of Central and Eastern Europe. This year, interest from abroad has risen yet again and according to the current state of registrations, the share of foreign participants will reach about 50 percent.

MSV includes well-proven events such as the 3D print exhibition or the Transfer of Technology and Innovations project, where research centres and technical colleges present themselves to commercial partners. Visitors will find them in Hall Z this time, because their traditional place in Hall A1 will be occupied by Chinese exhibitors this year.

The tenth edition of IMT and four technology fairs

8.2.2016

Machine tools always formed the backbone of our engineering and since 1959 they have also been the backbone of the International Engineering Fair. They experienced their highlight in 1998 when the first specialized International Fair of Machine Tools IMT was held alongside MSV. It instantly became the largest showcase in Central and Eastern Europe and as a biennial it has accompanied MSV always in the even years.
