The OPTA Fair has been successful
The 16th International Fair of Eye Optics, Optometry and Ophthalmology OPTA was staged in the new multi-function hall P, both its stands and accompanying program. In spite of the unfavorable economic situation nearly all exhibitors came to Brno.

Fashion show at the OPTA Fair
Company Mr. Gain which is the leading Czech supplier of spectacle frames and sunglasses, has been cooperating, for three years, with the designer Osmany Laffita. As a gift for the visitors to this year’s OPTA, the company has prepared a fashion show called “Osmany Laffita Fashion and Eyewear Show”.

Project “Eye optics 3000” which shows a model optical shop of the third millennium was very successful at the OPTA Fair. Opticians are interested in renovations by making use of presented interior solutions.

TOP OPTA supports the innovation frame of the German designer
The new method of fastening spectacle sides will be appreciated by everyone who lost a miniature screw which fell out of his glasses. The frames of the collection Ludwig Rosenberger are without any screws, soldered joints and an orbit lock so that they cannot be practically damaged.

TOP OPTA 2010 recommends new lenses Johnson&Johnson Vision Care
Contact lenses for a single wear are the best choice for their users from the point of view of a comfort and prevention of health risks. Company Johnson&Johnson Vision Care developed a new silicon-hydrogel material, in particular for one-day contact lenses, which provides the eye with a 100 % oxygen permeability. Four exhibits won TOP OPTA 2010 awards
Exhibitors have entered for the fifth competition for the best exhibits of the OPTA Fair a record number of 24 products. Nine of them were nominated for awards by the Jury of Assessment, four being awarded. The TOP OPTA 2010 Awards were presented to the representatives of the firms Johnson & Johnson, Rodenstock, Geodis Brno and Aglaja.
