International Fair of Machinery, Equipment and Materials for the Wood Industry
Market around wood industry back to life
Wood industry recently struggled with the financial crisis, and last year was marked by uncertainty and reduced investments into new technologies, tools and materials. "This year is seen to feel optimism in technology investment, while it should be emphasized that most customers began to prudently calculate their operating costs and adjusted their investment behavior on that basis, i.e. not focusing on the purchase of technology at the lowest possible price, but it is a priority for them to buy a unit with the lowest operating costs and maximum flexibility", says Mr. Jan Ledra, Sales Manager of Rojek Wood Machines for the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic.
Some companies were forced by the financial crisis to change their corporate strategies and policies. Companies have responded by restructuring their offers or innovations to adapt bets to the demands of current customers. Nowadays, customers think twice about the conditions under which to invest, carefully their business partner from whom they expect not only a perfect delivery of the purchased product, but also a professional approach, comprehensive service and assistance. "The economic situation of recent years was written about by a plethora of comments, analyses and reflections. However, everyone must cope alone and it is just on them which way to go. I bet on honesty, accountability to customers, a wide range of our products, our dealer' experience and knowledge of the region, continuous work with customers, advertising and thorough presentation of our products. I firmly believe that we are on the right track and moving in the right direction, " explains Mr. Tomáš Vystyd, CEO of Felder Group CZ.
The situation around the wood industry therefore looks very positive, the market is back to life and business is growing slowly but surely. "Base on all the above mentioned facts, we see this year as relatively optimistic in terms of the investment enthusiasm of our customers and the offer created, the maximum gradation of which should be brought about by WOOD-TEC, where we want to present ourselves as a leading supplier of technology for wood and comprehensive solutions for our customers", adds Mr. Jan Ledr.
