International Fair of Agricultural Technology
The combo of agricultural and forestry trade fairs continues the growth trend and this year’s edition has become a record-breaking year in every way, as the largest event organized at the Brno Exhibition Centre in 2012. During the first four days, 98 000 exhibition visitors passed through the gates, the total visitor number will have thus exceeded last year’s attendance by several thousand (105,371 visitors) and go beyond 110 000 people.
One of the three largest agricultural shows in Europe - a combo of international fairs TECHAGRO, ANIMAL VETEX, SILVA REGINA and BIOMASS - was inaugurated in the Hall A Rotunda in the presence of distinguished guests from the Czech Republic and abroad. A filled auditorium not only heard speeches by present representatives of the sector, but also witnessed awarding of the best exhibits and presentations of commemorative medals to prominent personalities.
In two-year periodicity, the major European TECHAGRO agricultural fair is held in the Czech Republic, its twelfth year takes place on 31 March – 4 April this year. Professional associations of the major exhibitors have confirmed cooperation with the fair administration, and thus technology, machinery, equipment and living exhibits will fill all thirteen pavilions and the adjacent areas outside the exhibition grounds to the last place.
The International Forestry and Hunting Fair, SILVA REGINA, will delight visitors by the scope of exhibits and number of educational-entertainment programmes. The exhibition will present hunting guns, equipment for hunters, as well as historical hunting uniforms and carriages used for hunting. This prestigious exhibition will be held in the Czech Republic at the Brno Exhibition Centre in the period from 31 March to 4 April 2012.
