PLASTEX - International Fair of Plastics, Rubber and Composites, is held at the Brno Exhibition Centre after four years. The project did not take place in 2010 due to a term collision with the industry’s number one trade fair in Düsseldorf.

In the Czech Republic, however, the plastics and rubber industry is very well established and plastics manufacturers’ key customers include the automotive, electronics and packaging industries. Interest in manufacturing machinery and equipment, often tailor-made for the chosen technology or specific contract, is quite high and it is this customer target group that the International Fair of Plastics, Rubber and Composites PLASTEX addresses, as the industry’s number one fair in the country. Its last year in 2008, was attended by 196 companies from 21 countries and almost half of the exhibitors presented specifically machines and equipment for plastics and rubbers.
