MSV 2013: continuing with successful projects
Another opportunity to introduce new products and receive new orders will be available to companies from 7 to 11 October 2013, when the Brno Exhibition Centre hosts the 55th edition of MSV. The largest industrial trade fair in Central Europe will welcome exhibitors from key disciplines from engineering and electronics to plastics or ecotechnologies.
Automation will be the main theme of MSV 2013 – a presentation of measurement, control, automation and regulation technology across all disciplines. In the past, Automation was only held as a biennial in even years, but based on feedback from exhibitors in this field who are constantly interested, organizers decided to highlight it annually. The topic of industrial automation will be visualized both in the exhibition halls and the accompanying programme, and the MSV Gold Medal competition will among other things include a category for the best exhibit in automation.
The presentation of logistics branches which visitors used to see not only at MSV, but also at the specialized Transport and Logistics exhibition in the past, will take place under a new design. In the period from 8 to 10 October 2013, the Brno Exhibition Centre is holding a new exhibition project aimed at road transport, rail transport and logistics. Eurotrans International Transport Fair merges fields from the Autotec and Transport and Logistics fairs. However, the field of intralogistics still remains part of MSV, following the presentation of other industrial producers and addressing the same clientele. In-house logistics especially include storage, handling and internal transport, which were among the most strongly represented groups at Transport and Logistics. The MSV will thus again include exhibitors of industrial trucks, cranes and lifting equipment, assembly equipment, storage equipment or machines for industrial packaging.
For the fifth time, the Technology Transfer and Innovation project will take place during MSV, presenting scientific research activities of universities and research centres. Technical universities not only show the interesting results of their teams’ research work here, but also discuss cooperation with industrial companies on projects aimed precisely at their needs.
