International Engineering Fair
Focused presentation of key industry sectors
The success of last year should follow up in MSV 2011, which will be held in even more favourable economic conditions. The volume of new orders in the Czech industry grew by 11.5% in December 2010, in the case of export orders even by 14%. GDP growth is expected in the Czech Republic and the neighbouring countries. After an investment fasting, experts predict hunger for new technologies that would enable manufacturing companies to jump on the train of the rolling economy in time. These should be introduced by the forthcoming International Engineering Fair.
The offer will again be divided into branch units, which will increase transparency and make orientation easy for expert visitors. Traditionally, the highest participation is expected in the field of machine tools and metal forming machines, tools, surface and heat treatment, welding machines. MSV Brno timely follows the EMO Hannover, which takes place from 19 to 24 September 2011. Exhibitors are no longer restricted in the presentation of their machinery exhibits, thus their interesting novelties may travel directly from Hanover to the Brno Exhibition Centre, for them to be appreciated by local customers with all their advantages.
MSV is obviously not just about engineering. Traditionally, there is a strong representation of electrical engineering, electronics, automation and measurement technology, there are also industrial control systems. The fields also include supporting materials and components for mechanical engineering and the power generation industry.
The recently often featured topic of material and energy efficiency of industrial production will come into the spotlight. Exhibitors will offer new solutions that lead to savings in energy and material consumption and thereby increase competitiveness. "Without efficient solutions and the optimization of production processes, companies are finding it hard to establish themselves in the market today. This topic is crucial for trade fair participants, we have been dealing with it on a long-term basis and we will continue to feature it in the specialized accompanying programme," informed the MSV director, Jiří Rousek.
The production and processing of plastics is included as a very promising and dynamic sector of the Czech and Central European industry. Outstanding presentation of tools and technologies for the plastics industry in the region takes place directly on the MSV, within the departmental unit of Plastics, Rubber Technology and Chemical Industry. Due to the growth of the automotive and electronics industries as the main purchasers , an increased demand for plastics technology and a stronger participation of exhibitors of this field can be expected at MSV 2011 this year.
Today’s modern production cannot do without logistical processes that reduce costs and increase competitiveness. A comprehensive range of products, technologies and services for an efficient flow of goods is always present in Brno in the odd years at the Transport and Logistics International Fair, which will be held concurrently with MSV. Its 6th edition will take place this year from 3 to 7 October and it will show the latest trends. Handling equipment will be likely once again the strongest range, but other ranges such as industrial packaging, warehouse equipment and rolling stock will not be missed either. Presentation of logistics solutions for different industries will be undoubtedly attractive also for the MSV participants.
