FOND-EX 2012 together with MSV
Common dates date joining the international foundry trade fair FOND-EX with the largest event of its kind in Central Europe, the International Engineering Fair, are not a complete novelty. This connection of dates already proved itself good in 2010.
Czech foundry industry is on the rise again
We asked the Executive Director of the Association of Foundries of the Czech Republic Josef Hlavinka about the state of the industry and its prospects,. "Official statistics for last year are not available yet, but we estimate that the Czech foundry industry is really rebounding, the increase in production between 2011 and 2010 could reach 5 to 8%.
MSV 2012: Brno Exhibition Centre filled by seven industrial fairs
The 54th International Engineering Fair will be held this year in the traditional September date, from 10 to 14 September, and together with it, six specialized exhibitions will be held: 8th International Trade Fair for Machine Tools IMT, 14th International Foundry Fair FOND-EX, 21st International Welding Trade Fair WELDING, 4th International Trade Fair for Surface Technology PROFINTECH, 3rd International Plastics, Rubber and Composites Fair PLASTEX and 11th International Fair of Personal Protective Equipment and Safety at Work, INTERPROTEC.
India will be a partner country
This year will be exceptional by an extensive participation of companies from India, which belongs to countries with the highest economic potential. There will be an "India Show" taking place at MSV, as the highest form of official business and economic presentation of India abroad.
Participation in IMT 2012 already confirmed by the largest manufacturers
Metalworking and metal forming machines will once again be the main branch of this year’s edition, having reserved the largest Hall P and other exhibition areas. Machining and forming technology is not only the backbone engineering discipline, without which virtually no manufacturing can be done, but also a traditional and highly successful export industry of Czech manufacturers.
Highlighted topics of MSV 2012
From the sectorial point of view, the main topic of this year’s edition will focus on a bi-annual cross-sectional project named AUTOMATION - measuring, control, automation and regulation technology.
A review of the previous year
The last edition of the International Engineering Fair presented 1592 exhibiting companies from 23 countries, where the share of foreign participants has increased to 44.7%. Exhibitors stands were viewed by 79 296 visitors from 65 countries and 6601 registered visitors arrived from abroad, i.e. 8.4% of the total. 423 journalists were accredited at the fair, including 68 foreign ones from six countries.
