Facts & Figures:
The International Foundry Fair FOND-EX is another of the traditional events held at Brno Exhibition Centre. It has been taking place here since 1972, and nowadays it is the third biggest specialised foundry trade fair in the world, and surely the most important one in the Central European market region.
FOND-EX fair is a place where representatives of foundries and pattern plants from all over the region come to see the new machines and appliances, and to get acquainted with new progressive technologies and materials. This position of the fair issued in a high percentage of foreign participants. At FOND-EX 2010, there were 93 companies from 10 countries, and the share of foreign exhibitors reached 28 %.
