International Trade Fair for Packaging and Packaging Technologies
Preliminary Final Report EMBAX and SALIMA – MBK – INTECO – VINEX
SALIMA – MBK – INTECO – VINEX International Food Fairs have for the second time taken place concurrently with the EMBAX International Trade Fair for Packaging and Packaging Technologies, and offered a view on innovations and trends in processing, distribution and sale of foodstuff. Presentation of 1195 exhibitors and represented brands was to be seen in three largest exhibiting halls of the Brno fairgrounds, where they were inspected by more than 27 thousand visitors from thirty countries.
Modern trade and packaging
A novelty of this year’s edition will consist of a feature by the COOP group. This network of approximately 2,800 stores with total sales area of 400.000 m2 will acquaint visitors with the concept of developing their own brands, but especially their attractive financial services that will become the central theme of the exhibition.

To majority people, packaging seems like nothing special, no big deal. But still no industry or branch could do without it. Very often, we do not even realize that if goods were not packed, we would not be able to purchase them! In addition to that, each product should be equipped with a label stating information about „best before“, country of origin and a producer code.
