Mr. Jiří Kuliš

Mr. Kuliš graduated from the School of Economics in Prague (International Relations and Foreign Trade). In the period between 1976 and 1992 he worked at various managerial positions at BVV Trade Fairs and Exhibitions Brno. From 1990 to 1992, before his departure for diplomatic service, he was a commercial director at the BVV. From 1992 to 2005 he served as chargé d´affaires at the Czech diplomatic mission in New Zealand, and later as commercial counsellor in Australia and New Zealand, economic counsellor of the Czech Republic in Japan and in Washinton DC in the USA.
Since 2006, Mr. Kuliš has been a consultant to the BVV management. On December 17, 2009 he was appointed the CEO of Trade Fairs Brno Co., the leading exhibition organizer and venue in the region of Central Europe.
His professional carrier has been primarily focused on marketing and exhibition industry, foreign trade and international relations. Mr. Kuliš is a respected person in the international exhibition industry. He was the President of the Union of the CEE Exhibition Industry CENTREX and the President of CEFA (Central European Fair Alliance). Mr Kuliš is a member on the board of the Brno Economic Chamber and of the Czech Association of the Electric Industry (ELA), he is active in many professional institutions as well as bilateral chambers such as the Czech-German Economic Chamber DTIHK, French-Czech Chamber of Commerce and others. Mr Kuliš is fluent in German, Englisch and Russian languages.
