BRNOSAFETY 2011

The new MEDIAPRIX BRNOSAFETY 2011 competition is a competition of those Czech media which had systematically devoted the past 12 months to the issue of increasing road safety and had brought information on this topic to the general public of the Czech Republic. The competition is announced for one common category which is intended for all types of media, i.e. TV, radio, Internet and press periodicals.

The winner of the competition will have the opportunity to present in detail his/her awarded work to the attendants of the BRNOSAFETY 2011 conference which will be held on 2 – 3 June 2011 in Brno. The prize will be handed out to the winner at the gala evening which will take place at the Brno Town Hall on 3 June 2011. The gala evening is organised by BVV Trade Fairs Brno on the occasion of the opening of this year’s automotive fair AUTOSALON BRNO (4 – 9 June 2011).

Among other experts the members of the panel of appraisers will be representatives of the BESIP (Road Safety) foundation, the BESIP Department of the Ministry of Transport, the Director of the Road Police of the Police of the Czech Republic and representatives of the BRNOSAFETY 2011 preparatory committee.

Detailed information on the MEDIAPRIX BRNOSAFETY 2011 competition, including the statutes and application forms will be available from 1 April at the latest on the web pages of BVV Trade Fairs, the Inovace v dopravě (Innovation in Transport) Association, and on pages of the BRNOSAFETY 2011 conference.

The deadline for submitting applications to the MEDIAPRIX BRNOSAFETY 2011 competition for the evaluated period from 1 April 2010 to 31 March 2011 is 16 May 2011.
