Facts & Figures:
The aim of
road safety improvement has for many years been an important society-wide topic
on a European level. The 6th international conference on road safety BRNOSAFETY 2012 will be held again this
year from June 5th – 6th, 2012 in Brno, the Czech Republic
as an important part of the AUTOTEC trade fair.
Since 2007, the conference BRNOSAFETY has every year provided an excellent meeting point for road safety experts from various areas and levels of expertise, this event being an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and information between experts on an international level.
Two seminars will be prepared by members of the Salzburg Forum and both will be a significant part of the international conference BRNOSFETY 2012. The Salzburg Forum joins road traffic experts from police forces of nine European states.

Road safety experts will deal within the frame of the conference with the topics listed below:
- Technical conditions of motor vehicles - their inspection, supervision and transport of dangerous goods.
- Observance of working conditions in goods transport and safety checks.
- Traffic management during large reconstructions of road and highway sections.
- Lifelong teaching of drivers and the influence of driving schools on the level of their education.
- GALILEO project and satellite technologies – chance for transport improvement
- Transportation of oversized goods and technology for their security.
- New technologies and results of R&D projects in the area of road safety improvement.
- Key activities of foundations and other NGOs for road safety improvement

Sciences of the Czech Technical University
