PÖTTINGER, PEKASS, VALTRA and others. The Czech Republic
however is also famous for its own production of agricultural machinery. Apart

Jan Kuběna of the Brno Exhibition Centre comments on the participation of companies: "According to the Association of Agricultural and Forestry Machinery, tractor sales in the Czech Republic increased by 17.6%, for the first six months of 2011 year on year, which does not reach the success of 2008, however, we can speak of a growing trend. Farmers’ willingness to invest in machines after two years of agricultural equipment sales stagnation, was confirmed in the autumn of last year at the Agritechnica Fair in Hannover. Optimism is also reflected in the interest of companies to present at TECHAGRO, ANIMAL VETEX, SILVA REGINA, BIOMASS 2012. "
The most interesting issues …
Beside exhibitors’ stands, the fairs will offer an interesting and beneficial professional programme, where the themes common for farmers across the European Union will be spoken of, as well as points on the Czech environment only. The fundamental debate is expected to concern the European agricultural policy after 2013. The topic of regional energy self-sufficiency using biomass is also a current one. Conferences and seminars on the use of biomass for energy purposes will focus on the exchange of international experience mainly from Germany, Austria, Czech Republic and Slovakia. International representation is also a feature of the Central-European Veterinary Congress dealing with veterinary issues and the welfare of farm animals.
A livestock exhibition
found great popularity among visitors, while Czech breeding associations
present the best collection of dairy and beef cattle, sheep, goats and pigs.
The exhibition grounds will feature two presentation spots and stables for
almost 300 animals.
Hunters, foresters and nature lovers will surely not miss a visit to the hunting pavilion, where they can find supplies and equipment for the woods, hunting guns, ammunition and optics, an exhibition of hunting trophies, displays of work by hawkers, hunting hounds presentations, lumberjack shows and much more.
Agricultural and forestry exhibitions TECHAGRO, ANIMAL VETEX, SILVA REGINA and BIOMASA will be a unique spectacle for all hunters, foresters and nature lovers, therefore note the dates of 31 March - 4 April in your calendars and come to see it in Brno.
